Adam Heavenrich, Managing Director

Adam is a longtime transaction and finance professional with nearly 30 years of experience in structuring, selling, acquiring and underwriting senior housing, healthcare and real estate projects. He has served as lead financial advisor to hundreds of independent living, assisted living, memory care and nursing home companies. For the past eight years, Adam has been advising senior housing operators on how to structure, capitalize and develop new facilities. Adam’s articles have appeared in major senior living and healthcare publications (see Press/Articles) and he has lectured widely on the subject of senior housing mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to founding Heavenrich & Company, Adam was senior underwriter for real estate lending at the U.S. unit of Sanwa Bank, then the world's fifth-largest bank. Prior to Sanwa, Adam held positions with Shearson Lehman's real estate investment banking subsidiary.

Adam began his career as director of sales and marketing and later development director for Universal Medical Buildings, a publicly-traded company that developed medical office and outpatient buildings for hospitals. Universal was designated as a preferred provider for Voluntary Hospitals of America, which, at the time, controlled one of every ten hospital beds in the U.S.

Adam earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, with concentrations in healthcare and real estate finance. He received a Diploma from the London School of Economics and earned his B.A. in Economics, graduating with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He lives in a northern suburb of Chicago with his wife and three children.

Brian Clark, Senior Director

Since 2013 Brian has served as Senior Director for Heavenrich & Company, leading the investment brokerage transactions for the Western United States out of the Denver office.

For more than 25 years Brian has held executive leadership and finance positions with companies of all sizes in various industries. For more than 10 years, Brian was owner of BRC and All Shop Groups, providing strategic, financial and operational consulting services to small and medium-sized companies in the Denver area. Prior to that, Brian worked as COO/CFO for UrgentRx, a start-up medication business. Brian also served as COO/CFO of SmartWool, a start-up sock and apparel company that eventually sold for $80 million. He began his career as Asset Manager at LaSalle Partners Real Estate and Senior Consultant at Arthur Anderson & Co.

Brian earned his M.B.A. in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He earned his B.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Mathematics from Southern Methodist University. Brian lives in Denver.
